November 2025

To be honest, I don't know what to write here. In general, I'll write about what I've been doing lately.

First of all, I'll say that VOL5 album is almost finished, there are only a couple of tracks left to complete and 2–3 more covers to do. But I've already started working on material for the VOL6 album. Why can't I include it all in VOL5? It's simple - the new material just doesn't fit in with it. To be honest, I'm getting tired of constantly jumping from one metal genre to another. First I write metalcore, then melodic death, and then fucking glam. And yeah, it's cool that I don't limit myself creatively, but I'm starting to see my work not as something whole (except for the synthetic sound), but rather as a compilation of tracks that I have.

Therefore, I decided to do one thing that unites everything—the use of samples from games, all kinds of 8-bit/16-bit sounds, etc. That is, starting with the VOL6 album, sound will be closer to nintendocore and video game music. I'll still be writing synth metal, of course, that's not up for discussion.

As for genres, I'm not going to limit myself in this regard, but I'm staying more in melodic death, power, and heavy metal, maybe a little metalcore. I'm not going to do any more synthwave, new wave, gothic rock, glam metal, etc. If I feel like it, I'd rather release them as separate singles/albums, or better yet, just create new projects. But commissioned work or just another experiment/simply because I wanted to do it will not affect it in any way. I will still create tracks in any genre (with a few exceptions).

Oh yes, I'm also going to re-release the VOL1–VOL4 albums. My creativity and approach to it has changed over the years, I even changed my name. And I don't want it to just get lost over the years. I'm already writing many covers from scratch.

In short, expect all this in 2026. Most likely, closer to summer or fall. But I'm not promising anything. Stay tune!

But what about content for games (HL/SC maps, etc)?

Well, I had to put my projects on hold once again. It's not difficult for me to concentrate on everything at once, but it's hard to focus on one thing (in this case, the map) while I'm working on something else. That's how it turned out with my part of Ragemap. In fact, it's already finished — what's left is balancing, making a couple more models, and drawing new textures to replace the Half-Life/They Hunger ones I repainted. After that, it'll be completely done. My part is called “Smell of Asphalt”, basically a mini-campaign.

I was supposed to finish Action Outrun back in the summer, but because of playing in bands (which I’ve already left) and the resulting burnout, I couldn't do anything for a long time. I even isolated myself from society almost completely (aside from work), but thankfully my friends still drag me outside and don't let me fall into the abyss of existence. But let's not talk about sad things.

Overall, the Action Outrun map is also expected to release in 2026, then sometime after - Hellstorm Nightmare: Episode 1. Still, working on Ragemap helped me better understand GoldSrc mapping, especially how entities work. Anyway, let's stay in touch — subscribe to my TG Channel and X, where I spend most of my time.
